1. Introduction
The WIAC2025 – 6th Workplace and Indoor Aerosols Conference ("Organizer") may capture and use photographs, videos, and other media recordings during the event. By attending, participating, or sponsoring WIAC2025, all individuals consent to the terms outlined in this Media Consent Policy.
2. Scope of Media Usage
The Organizer and its authorized representatives may collect media, including:
✔ Photographs of attendees, speakers, and exhibitors.
✔ Video recordings of sessions, panels, and networking events.
✔ Live streaming of selected conference activities.
✔ Interviews or testimonials provided by attendees and sponsors.
This content may be used for:
✅ Event promotion on websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
✅ Educational and training purposes for future WIAC events.
✅ Marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and sponsorship proposals.
✅ Media coverage for industry publications and news outlets.
3. Consent & Participation
By registering for and attending WIAC2025, all attendees, speakers, and sponsors:
Grant permission to the Organizer to use their image, voice, and likeness in event-related media.
Acknowledge that recordings may be distributed publicly without compensation.
Understand that refusal of media consent must be requested in advance (see Section 5).
4. Photography & Recording by Attendees
Attendees are generally permitted to take photos and videos for personal use. However:
🚫 No professional recording of sessions is allowed without prior approval.
🚫 Live streaming of conference sessions is prohibited without written consent.
🚫 Images or recordings must not be used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Speakers and exhibitors may request no photography or recording of sensitive content during their presentations. The Organizer will respect and enforce such requests when possible.
5. Opting Out of Media Coverage
We respect individual privacy preferences.
🔹 If you do not consent to media usage, you must:
- Notify the Organizer in writing before the event at [Insert Contact Email].
- Inform on-site staff at the registration desk upon arrival.
- Avoid areas marked for media coverage or live streaming.
- While the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests, complete avoidance of incidental media capture cannot be guaranteed.
6. Rights & Intellectual Property
The Organizer retains all rights to media content produced at WIAC2025.
Attendees and sponsors may not use event-related media for commercial purposes without prior approval.
Unauthorized use of the WIAC2025 logo, branding, or materials in media content is prohibited.
